Laurie Pederson
Actively involved in the burgeoning independent filmmaking industry in Northern
California, producing over 17 films and music videos since 2001. With her
ability to organize, communicate, motivate and attract the best talent available,
she is a great asset to every film and video production she is a part of.
Film festival selections and awards include 'Audience Favorite' for the
short film ”The Last Word” - screened at the Sacramento Film & Music
Festival 2003, 'Overall Excellence' award for the short film “The Pink
Dress”, at the Festival of Cinema in Sacramento, CA 2003 and a Special
Mention award from the Paris Film Festival 2003; and “Training Wheels” recently
awarded ‘Best Family Film’ by the Las Vegas Dam Short Festival
2005.
Pederson currently serves as Director for the Capital Film Arts Alliance (www.capitalfilmarts.com); Co-Director for the Sacramento Film & Music Festival (www.sacfilm.com); and is a founding member of the Sacramento Area Film Festivals, established in 2005.

Carla Giampapa
Not only has Carla grown up in the production industry, she has also managed, as well as produced, for Post Production Facilities , Production Companies and Advertising/Marketing Agencies over the past 17 years and has a complete understanding of the creative/business process from inception through delivery of final product. Her film/video experience has involved her with award-winning projects ranging from national commercials and longer format pieces to broadcast series, features and special events.
Carla’s passionate about motion images and maintaining the delicate balance between the creative concept and the bottom line. Many years in business management, with a strong background in accounting and organizational structure, lend to her efficiency as a Producer and Assistant Director. As a creative problem solver, with an outstanding ability to assess departmental needs, Carla’s able to offer effective solutions taking both logistics and budget needs into consideration.

Heidi Boucher
Heidi Boucher has been involved with film, television and theater for over 20 years, both in
California
and
Oregon
. In 1984, she began her career with the PBS affiliate in
Sacramento
designing sets, graphics and assisting the art director. In 1991, she moved to
Oregon
and began work for a nationally recognized production company, working not only as an art director, but handling all aspects of wardrobe, props, locations, set design and set decorating. She also freelanced as a visual arts coordinator for the City of
Eugene
, worked with Oregon Public Broadcasting, independent filmmakers, community theater, and other commercial production companies.
Over the years Heidi has had the privilege of working on numerous stage productions handling other visual aspects including lighting design and costumes. She has also been given several opportunities to direct on a variety of award winning national projects.
Since moving back to
Sacramento
in 2000, Heidi has been freelancing, continuing her work on feature films, music videos, commercials, television and stage.

Lucas Abel
Lucas has been editing film and video for over a decade. His two feature film credits include Fandom and An American Vampire in
America
, both of which have received critical acclaim for their innovative editing techniques. In addition to his feature film work, he has edited numerous shorts, commercials and music videos.
Lucas’s rural beginnings became the origin for his internal creativity. Growing up in the bucolic
Sacramento
Valley
, Lucas relied on his imagination for entertainment. His fascination began with illustration and comic books, but very quickly branched out into music and movies. Lucas attended the Academy of Art University in
San Francisco
, studying filmmaking, and graduated in 2005 with an emphasis in editing and directing.
